2009 Autodesk Visualization Award Submission

The 2009 animation is based on the theme of “Biomimicry”, Biomimicry is the concept of taking ideas from nature and modifying them with modern technology to make our lives better, easier, and simpler.
 

We invented a device that warns epileptic seizure victims about their seizures. Until now people who suffered from epileptic seizures had no way of knowing when a seizure was going to occur. In a recent study it was shown that dogs can sense when a person is about to have a seizure. Our device combined the dogs ability to sense certain “soundwaves” emitted from the brain when a seizure is about to occur with a ear/wrist warning device. This way seizure victims can be alerted to an oncoming seizure and take measures to prevent them harming themselves, or others.
